Alice Crawford’s practice includes collage, textile art, botanical illustration, photography, and animation. Much of this work responds to the notion of the 'anthropocene' and the need for humanity to create new modes of kinship with the other marvelous creations we share the Earth with, but some of it is just for fun.
Their work has appeared in gallery settings, academic publications, cafe shows, online exhibitions, as album covers and visualizers, and at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art as part of the collaborative work "Creation," organised by artist Deborah Kelly to which they contributed collage and embroidery work as well as performance.
